Ridiculous headline? Maybe but no more so than this statement from the BBC Web site:
"Despite the fact there are more than 200 million guns in circulation, there is a certain tranquility and civility about American life."--BBC Web site, April 22
It never occurs to those that don't understand guns or gun owners that the rise in legal gun ownership helps drive the decline in illegal gun usage. Very similar causative effect as in keeping criminals locked up longer leads to less crime.
