Chemical Reactions Create Undulating Brew

Everyone may have seen this already but I don't care. I think it is pretty cool and is the type of thing that can get someone interested in science so I am posting it.

This is an example of complexity in a chemical reaction that most would think far to complicated to occur. It is fascinating that we are still uncovering areas of such wonder in this field. I used to work with someone who's husband was a chemist in VA and his job was to create custom foam for specific purposes. Light weight, dense, flexible, stiff, all kinds of foam. He created foam with specific properties for each specific job requirement. I thought that was pretty cool too.
