City of Huntington Park, CA adds two illegal immigrants to its city commissions

Doing jobs that Americans won't do?

In addition to allowing illegal immigrants access to driver’s licenses and the state’s Obamacare exchange, now Huntington Park has given them an opportunity to actually govern legal American citizens.

These appointments, made by Councilman Jhonny Pineda, were achieved by getting around federal requirements for citizenship, as the young men are serving voluntarily and are not receiving any pay. However, not all Huntington Park residents are embracing the appointments.

Wow, just wow...

Are they serious?

This is from the US Surgeon General's web site. Are they serious? Do they actually think, based on their actions, inactions, reactions and miss-steps of this past week, that ANYONE anywhere would take anything they say on the subject of how contagious Ebola is as true and accurate information?

  • You can't catch it on the bus.
  • You can catch it on the bus.
  • Its OK to travel by air with a fever (less than 101) after treating Ebola patent.
  • No she should not have traveled by air.
  • BUT restricting flight from countries with Ebola is "off the table".
Lord, they have NO CLUE what they are saying and what they are doing. We have an Infectious Diseases CZAR but no one has seen or heard from her (other than to know that she managed to funnel a LOT of money to her husband's company). The CDC did not have the money to prepare for this (their MAIN job) but did have plenty of money to study why lesbians get fat and plenty of money for studies on the disease of guns. It is clowns from the top to the bottom!

Update: Dems are now trying to say that there would be money for Ebola but the Repubs cut funding. FALSE! First off, Congress allocated CDC more money than Obama asked for AND the "cash strapped" CDC did manage to find some funds for the following "critical to their basic mission" items:
  • it dumped $106 million into a swanky visitors' center in Atlanta, even though it already had one
  • it bought $10 million worth of furniture for its lavish new headquarters
  • spent $1.7 million to advise Hollywood on medical plots
  • a $702,558 grant for the study of the impact of televisions and gas generators on villages in Vietnam
  • $175,587 to the University of Kentucky to study the impact of cocaine on the sex drive of Japanese quail
  • $55,382 to study hookah smoking in Jordan
  • $592,527 to study why chimpanzees throw objects
  • a $509,840 grant from NIH to pay for a study that will send text messages in “gay lingo” to meth-heads
Yep, not ENOUGH money! We MUST increase their budget! What a JOKE!

Has the EPA been doing illegal human experiments for years?

Either the EPA is sponsoring horrific human experiments, or they are lying to the Congress about the toxicity of air pollution.

If the testimony in Congress by Ms. Jackson and the opinion of Jon Samet are sincerely held they are committing a criminal unethical and immoral act by exposing unknowing individuals to lethal. harmful or carcinogenic air pollutants in violation of American and International Law.

Either the EPA is lying about the toxicity of small particle air pollution which is a fraud on the citizens and misconduct in a position of trust.

OR

The EPA is funding and sponsoring and Medical Schools are complicit in unethical and immoral/illegal human experiments.

What’ll it be?

Yes, which is it? Is the EPA complicit in illegal human experimentation or have they lied for years about the dangers of small particle are pollution?

Another ObamaCare security breach reported in Vermont

It’s increasingly clear that Healthcare.gov won’t meet the promised November 30 deadline for relaunch with near-total operating capacity. But if the online system ever does improve enough to allow a surge of applicants to get past the front end of the system, they’ll be walking into a data security nightmare, made all the worse by the incontrovertible fact that none of the hasty last-minute fixes could possibly have been tested for either hacker protection, or the kind of self-generated data integrity breach administrations don’t want to discuss, until freedom of information laws force them to.

This same Government that did so well with Benghazi, Fast & Furious, running the VA and managing the TSA. What makes anyone think that they would be doing so much better with this?

The truth about Ethanol

Ethanol as a fuel source is a bad answer. It takes food out of consumption and turns it into bad fuel. By bad fuel, I mean it takes more energy to produce ethanol from corn than you get from the resulting ethanol. Most recent information on the process states that it takes 1.5 gallons of fuel energy to produce one gallon of ethanol fuel energy.

So, producing ethanol results in:
- higher food prices due to the loss of food corn
- higher energy prices due to the process loss from producing ethanol
- higher vehicle maintenance costs due to the corrosive affects of ethanol on nonmetallic engine parts

All so the ethanol lobby can make lots of money for a product that makes no economic sense and so "greens" can feel better about "doing something" for the planet that actually makes things worse for the planet.

Things will only be getting worse as the ethanol additive rates are set to increase from up to 10% ethanol to the newer up to 15% ethanol standard.

File under "tone deaf"

This has got to be one of the most serious unforced errors of the Obama presidency. I do not believe it got much air play, go figure. A Presidential Proclamation for National Grandparents Day.

What day has the President of the United States of American, in all of his infinite wisdom and brilliance chosen as the day to honor our grandparents? Why September 11th, of course. Details at link...

Feds send man to prison for protecting town from flooding

Before the jury was dismissed to enter into deliberations at the conclusion of his trial, Judge Lynn Winmill instructed the jury, believe it or not, to disregard every bit of information from 1980 to 2002, including the Corps’ denial of jurisdiction and the mandate from local government for Mr. Moses to maintain the flood channel.

Instructed by this notoriously activist judge to ignore facts, reason and legal history, the jury returned with a guilty verdict, finding Mr. Moses guilty of “discharging” “pollutants” into one of the “waters of the United States.”

His conviction ignores the fact that no evidence was ever presented in court that Mr. Moses “discharged” anything into the stream bed at all. He only removed sand and gravel bars that were already there and which he was contractually obligated to remove. He was extracting material from the channel, not discharging material into it.

No evidence was presented in court by the EPA that there was any water at all in the stream bed during those years for Mr. Moses to “discharge” anything into. The EPA claims that “fallback” – material from the bank falling back into the stream bed – represents a “discharge,” but it offers no objective criteria for deciding how much “fallback” it takes to cross the magic threshold, meaning the EPA used sheer speculation to assert a violation.

A German legislator has moved to strip Adolf Hitler of his German citizenship...

and I thought it was only American politicians that had too much time on their hands.
