The audacity of hype

Well, can't you say the same about "global warming"? A "consensus" of scientists, Hollywood stars and politicians all believe that global warming is a MAJOR issue that we need to solve NOW but at the same time do all that they can to silence any opposing views and/or information. Some advocate firing any weather(wo)men that dare to not believe. Others want to defund any scientists that refuse to submit.
